Again another battery eating app when the gadget is idle. This app working in background drains away your battery by Reports and Updates. To disable this, all you need to do is go to Settings, choose Location Settings and disable Reporting from this device and if possible disable all GPS options when not in use.

6. Auto Synchronize and Auto Refreshing Apps
Apps like those of Email providers like Gmail, Yahoo, etc.. , Chat apps like Wechat, whatsapp, etc.. are often in auto synchronized mode, i.e. they try synchronizing even when its not even needed. Auto refreshing featured apps such as facebook, gmail, google+, instagram etc.. also eat up battery power in long run. When you want to check updates, it takes just a matter of few seconds to manually refresh or update the app. So stay away from auto synchronizing and auto refresh feature as long as you don't need them.
7. Airplane Mode:
I know you have heard this before and you wouldn't try doing it. But wait.. Are they really needed? What is an airplane mode meant for? For stopping to receive kind of Connections like SMS, Calls, Internet updates etc.. on your phone. Now as we all know 90 percent of android usage that we do day to day basis is all over the internet and texting. Calling, texting and chatting with friends is what android is made for but if you are in a location where you are not allowed or don't need to contact someone, better switch to airplane mode rather than Silent mode.
8. Turn off Vibration Alerts
Many apps that we use have default setting to have vibration enabled. This can be useful in meetings but I haven't found any of it on a general basis. Turning off all vibration settings in Message, Chat or Call Alerts and Even in many of games can boost up your battery efficiency. So just disable vibration from all android background or running programs.
9. Turn off Bluetooth
You don't need Bluetooth running all the time right? So, don't drain battery for that. Its simple when you want to transfer files just turn on Bluetooth and remember never carelessly keep bluetooth on for no reason. This is not only a problem for battery but also for security as there are many hackers spreading viruses via bluetooth.
10. Use Power Saving Mode and Scheduled Turn off
If you are using your android device constantly throughout the day, you can simply use power saving mode. This limits the maximum usage of CPU, saves power by using low level for screen and changes background color to save energy from internet usage. If are not using android gadget while sleeping, you can schedule auto turnoff in settings and improve power saving.
